In Response to the Covid-19 / Coronavirus Pandemic
We would like to take this time to thank you for exemplifying the Salesian “Be-Attitudes” in your practice of being prayerful, gentle, real, positive, and grateful during this trying time. The thoughtfulness that extends to care and concern for others is evident and is deeply appreciated.
In light of the current circumstances, there have been some necessary changes to our daily operations out of caution and concern for public health and the common welfare of our communities. The following changes are presently in effect, and will be updated as the need arises:
We believe that the work of parish stewardship, founded on the core scriptural principles of stewardship and self-giving, is a ministry to those who are invited to give and to those that benefit from the Church's work in countless ways. We would also like to thank our parishioners who currently use E-giving (EFT) to support our parish and its mission. Please continue your charitable support while we are without our regular weekend liturgies:
We have been hearing through media accounts that older people are more susceptible to the COVID-19 virus. Be sure that you are taking extra care to keep in contact with older friends and family members. It’s not hard to imagine that fear of going out to even the grocery store may put some people in need of basic food supplies.
