ICC Delivers! Grocery & Pharmacy Delivery
Assistance Guidelines.
Our goal is to provide grocery and pharmacy delivery services to parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church who are home bound and/or do not have transportation and/or have health concerns about going to public places due to the Covid-19 virus crisis. The program is designed to offer delivery of items purchased in and around the Myrtle Grove, Carolina Beach, Leland, and southern Wilmington communities. Other requests will be given consideration on a case-by-case basis. There is no delivery fee for this service.
Services, while not limited, are designed to be used once every two weeks. So, grocery shopping orders should consist of enough food/supplies to support your family for 2 weeks. Requests may include multiple shopping stops. For example: you may request us to pick up at the grocery store, the pharmacy, and PetSmart. We ask to consolidate your orders to as few locations as possible. This program does not include prepared meals, fast food deliveries, or ABC store deliveries.

How It Works
If you are an ICC parishioner who needs assistance in picking up groceries or pharmacy necessities, contact the parish at:
910-791-1003 ext. 104 between 10:00AM and 2:00PM
Please leave a message with your name and telephone number.
One of our coordinators will call you back as the offices are closed due to the Covid-19 virus. We are monitoring the phones from 10AM to 2PM daily.
Once the ICC coordinator contacts you, they will discuss you needs. If possible:
If you are not able to order online, we will determine how to get what you need delivered to you. You are responsible to pay for the groceries and pharmacy needs at the time of the order. We ask you to pay for the orders with a credit card. Once confirmed, an ICC volunteer will pick up the groceries and deliver them to the doorstep. They will maintain a safe distance (minimum 6 feet) and wait for you to open the door and take them into the house.
During this time, we all need to be as careful as we can possibly to avoid the spread of this deadly disease. Please do not ask the delivery volunteers to enter you home for you own safety. They have been instructed not to enter any homes to avoid the spread of the corona virus.
With everyone’s help we will get through this historic pandemic and return to our normal lives. Thank you!
