Remote Session Protocols:
Youth should be dressed appropriately for Faith Formation.
Where possible, video conferencing needs to take place in a common room of your home. If the computer set-up is in a bedroom, then the door should be left open at all time.
Diocesan Safe Environment Guidelines dictate that any youth under the age of 13 must have an adult present (though not on screen).
Cameras must be on to ensure Youth are engaged in the lesson.
Please minimize background noises and visual distractions where possible.
If possible, please be sure the display name is that of the Youth, or your family's last name.
All video sessions will be recorded.
Be sure to check your system set-up so that you can see, hear, and be heard.
Download any booklet pages for the lesson in advance. You will need a program to view PDF files (like Adobe Reader)
Have paper and a writing utensil on hand.
