Faith Formation Commission (look at the page here)
The Faith Formation Commission’s mission is to provide a lifelong inter-generational whole community approach to faith formation that emphasizes parish and home preparation and formation based on events of the liturgical year. This catechetical process aims toward growth in many dimensions of Christian discipleship: knowledge of faith, liturgical life, moral formation, prayer, belonging to community and missionary spirit, and is faithful to Catholic tradition and responsive to the needs and lived experience of people today. Liturgical Commission (look at the page here) The Liturgical Commission’s mission is to enrich and support this faith community through parish catechesis in liturgy and the sacraments, formation and service of liturgical ministers and acknowledgment of God’s presence in our preparation and celebration of liturgical life. Inreach Commission (look at the page here) The Inreach Commission’s mission is to develop parish life through community building and fellowship by offering programs and events to enrich and support the lives of the parishioners of Immaculate Conception. Outreach Commission (look at the page here) The Outreach Commission’s mission is to promote an awareness of social justice issues within the community. The commission seeks to provide food, clothing, educational materials, and other opportunities for Outreach activities. Suggestions are made to the pastor concerning the disbursement of Charity and Justice Funds. Plant & Operations Commission (look at the page here) The Facilities Commission’s mission is to ensure that the parish facilities and grounds are able to serve the needs of the parish community; to be good stewards of the parish finances by effectively attending to the maintenance needs of the buildings and grounds. |
