Parish Pastoral Council (PPC)
The Parish Pastoral Council is an advisory body assisting the pastor and staff in achieving the vision and mission of the parish. The Council normally meets on designated Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. approximately six times a year. Members participate in projects undertaken by the Council and other ministries of the parish. Term of office is three years. Prospective members are chosen by a spiritual discernment process by the parish each spring. Parishioners must be registered in the parish for one year and be committed to the principles of parish stewardship. Contact Information Meeting Minutes Strengths & Areas of Growth Council Position Descriptions Parish Finance Council (PFC) The Parish Finance Council advises the pastor and staff on all financial matters affecting the parish. Responsibilities include review and approval of the annual budget, financial planning and financial reports; monitoring of financial procedures; and assisting the parish staff in improving financial practices and procedures. Parishioners must be registered in the parish for one year and be committed to the principles of parish stewardship. A background of finance, accounting or business management is preferred. The Council normally meets quarterly on Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Term of office is three years.
